after the second Rose Bowl game, would you part ways with Cam Rising?
After that game I suggested here that I was kinda ready to move on from Rising and Co., and I got reemed (not unusual for me, LOL).
In hindsight, in my opinion, that probably would have been better for the team. Keeping him around has stunted our growth as a team (unless you…[Read more]

No clipboard, and this one had what appeared to be 10 fully healthy fingers. I’m beginning to doubt whether it was a Cam Rising or maybe it was the Cam Rising’s cousin, the stay-at-home dad.

I could have sworn I saw a Cam Rising here on the east coast, it was a member of the clean-shaven sub-species that also appears to be a slightly slimmer. though. It had the sweater, the baseball-style hat, and the long dark hair, but no visible mustache.
It was out in a grassy field near my home. I had no idea that Cam Risings existed this far east.

sure… but that wasn’t really the point of my post. I am under no delusions that he is every coming back to the Utes, or NCAA football in general. I’m just proud of the guy. He came over to my house a couple of times when he was an underclassman and I was in high school. Great guy, and super good at NCAA football (at least he was when he played…[Read more]

Another qb under his wing is blossoming into an mvp candidate. Dak, hurts, and Daniels.
Safe to say he is a certified qb whisperer. It’s too bad he was scapegoated out of Philly when the HC was clearly the issue. He was not allowed to do his thing with the offense.

Whitt has repeatedly said he isn’t going to do things that don’t HELP his team. Does it help his team to tell the world whether Cam is going to start? No it doesn’t, so he won’t do it.
His standard for doing things isn’t, “Will it bother the fans?” or even “Is it a net neutral?” In order for him to consider doing something, there needs to be…[Read more]

He is THE ONE AND ONLY Mike Bajakian! He is literally the reason we are going undefeated this year.
I’m joking, in case that wasn’t obvious

The prevent wasn’t the problem. The mistakes made while playing prevent were the problem.

Shohei brought in 123 runs (with 5 games to play, that could increase significantly). IOW, his bat helped his team more than Acuna’s did. Perhaps that is a simplistic way of looking at it, but I like Ohtani and know who he is, and I don’t even remember who Acuna plays for so…

Generally, I agree with you on this point. Mean-spirited religion jabs are not okay. I do have a few comments though:
1. If TSPP fans want religion talk (jokey or not) kept out of football, they should keep it out of football themselves, and they often don’t. Just a simple search on CB for the word “God” yields these recent results among many…[Read more]

The only thing that worries my about playing classic Utah football with Isaac is our running back health. How many more weeks of grinding out wins on the ground can our RB room handle? Mitchell and Vincent are both banged up. I’m sure Bernard is just as hurt as those two, but he’s a baller and plays through it… but he can only handle so…[Read more]

That won’t happen. TSPP is going to drop a couple on the road. LES is a tough place to win, but last night’s game was not indicative of TSPP talent. It was a fluke game. They have a good defense. That’s it.

Stop for a second and think about what you are asking. Why would two guys that collectively know just about everything there is to know about defense make the decision that they made? Why do they continually make that decision instead of what you seem to think is the better call? Is it possible that they have a good reason? Is it possible, maybe,…[Read more]

“it” didn’t allow the big plays. Guys trying to make the big play instead of keeping their man in front of them allowed the big plays.

No kidding. Saying something makes you cringe doesn’t mean you are offended by it. Cringe is what BYU does.

A lot of members of the Church feel a natural affinity for BYU. Some feel obligated to cheer for BYU. Outside of that, BYU is a highly regarded school academically. Their rankings are inflated by the fact that it is dirt cheap, but it is nevertheless a good school.
There are a lot of good reasons to attend/play football for BYU. Kalani is a…[Read more]
