chinngiskhaan replied to the topic What I think about the 2025 football season in the forum Football 5 hours, 21 minutes ago
I expect them to have a good year, but, like the last two years, it depends on injuries. People forget that we were doing just fine until Baylor got away with one of the latest hits I’ve ever seen.
Awful injury luck across the entire team has derailed our last two seasons.
We will be fine as long as that doesn’t happen again.

The TSPP fan reactions to him being gone are pretty funny. When news first came out about the incident, there were two main responses. Either he didn’t do it/won’t get suspended, Or, OMG WE ARE SCREWED.
Now that he is actually gone gone (reportedly), the reaction has been, “meh, we didn’t need him anyway because mmmmkay Hillstead is actually just…[Read more]

Completely agree. Ou OL will be better, but when you factor in Big12 defenders, our wr group may be a worse situation for Dampier. We’ll see.

I meant no slight on this guy, just not sure what a commitment to a team even means these days.

chinngiskhaan replied to the topic As a Pacers fan, I'm hoping Jensen takes inspiration from the Pacers in the forum Basketball (Men) 2 weeks, 4 days ago
Man, watching this team is so much fun. It is a completely different experience than watching them play the Heat over and over in the ECF. With that team, every offensive possession felt like pulling teeth. We were intentionally slowing games down hoping we could lean on David West for buckets. With this team, its all about having fun, pushing the…[Read more]

We have the athleticism to do what the Pacers have done to every team they’ve played in the playoffs. Run, run, run until they get too tired. Full court defense on their best player all game long. Push the ball as fast as possible. Lots of movement and minimal dribbling on offense.
I think this could be a winning strategy for us. Of course, I…[Read more]

Heh, I was 6 ft 4 and 160 soaking wet in high school. My parents did not allow me to play football because they knew I would break in half.
If he can’t get up to at least 180 he shouldn’t be played QB for us.

Utah is being forced to go back to the recruiting strategy that made us successful in the first place, going after potential diamonds in the rough. Hopefully it works out as well as it used to. This may be a better strategy in the new NIL world, but it could also backfire horribly. We’ll see how it works out.
Hopefully, we can win a bunch of…[Read more]

Nice to see that Okonkwo has such a long wingspan. That should help our lack of height down low.

Oddly enough, I had the opposite reaction to seeing all the unfamiliar names. While I’m not really happy with the NIL situation, I’m thrilled that we have finally moved on from Rising. I don’t have any issues with him, but I am glad we’ve moved on. I’m excited to see what Beck and Dampier can accomplish with better talent around them.
I will…[Read more]

Excited to see new names almost across the board. Not surprised Richie got passed up. He just hasn’t been the same since his mission. That being said it’s also nice to see guys like him stick around adding quality depth.
