  • I have seen some very good plays by Isaac and some very bad plays. He is young and I believe he will grow into a fine QB. I would like to see an offense installed that is more like what he ran in high school. He is a decent runner and it was key to his success at Corner Canyon. I am hoping he stays, hits the weights and training table hard and…[Read more]

  • It was mostly the mid-70s through the 80s. We were 5-5 against those douches in the 1990 thanks to McBride!

  • This is exactly my feelings. To me the only players that are not seniors that I would be totally bummed if they left are Calhoun, Garcia, Lomu, both Fanos, Snowden (sometimes), Tao Johnson, Tanuvasa, Barton (if he can get his speed back), Woods (if he can actually play), Bouwmeester, Togiai, and Pepa. Notice I have not put in a single WR or TE…[Read more]

  • Love the sense of humor! Seems like a nice guy and he reminds me a lot of Andy.

  • But when Singer is open it is not by much. I have never seen him clearly beat his man in any significant way. Almost all of his catches are contended that I have seen. Of course, I am not counting anything from the SUU game here. I do agree with game speed over top end speed but we lack that as well. So let’s look at some of our guys over the…[Read more]

  • You feel like Jackson was a punishing runner? Seriously?

  • I have been a loyal Ute fan since I was 10 years old back in about 1975. I have seen a lot of Ute football teams over the years and some have been very talented and some, not so much. I have watched this year’s team closely all season both in person and on TV. I have heard all of the pre-season hype about this team being one of Whitt’s best and…[Read more]

  • BYU has been living off of turnovers. If that continues they may have a special season. I would not back on it.

How in the hell can you say we would be undefeated if we used NIL money to keep Jackson? Jackson’s numbers so far this season are not as good as Micah through half the season. Micah is a much better all around running back. Period. Jackson has more size and is better at short yardage and goal line but our offense doesn’t sniff the goal line…[Read more]

The question that kept running through my mind all night Friday was why not take the damn glove off? If you are throwing in the dirt or 10 feet over receiver’s heads, but your hand is supposedly healed, why not try taking it off and throwing???

The other thing I noticed was the completely clueless and somewhat exhausted look on Kyle’s face in…[Read more]

Statistically Bernard is a better back than Scattebo. Bernard averages 6.7 YPG and Scattebo is at 5.5.

I was there and in a restricted view seat. I also attended the pre-season opener in seats three rows off the goalie! Man what a difference a seat makes! In the restricted view seats, once you get used to switching to the jumbotron when the action goes past your sight line, it isn’t all that bad. I did have some serious issues with how they…[Read more]

What do analytics tell you about the risk of not making it on fourth down and what it does to your true freshman QBs confidence and the confidence of your entire team in him??? I am so sick of dumb coaching decisions being blamed on analytics. It is the new cop out for coaches. It was a dumb decision and you made it several times which makes it…[Read more]

  • The way I look at it, how many local Utah recruits have been significant impact players historically? You really have to dig deep. I think they have historically been offensive and defensive linemen for the most part and this Dunn kid coming in certainly continues that tradition but when was the last true stud WR, RB, or DB come from in state?…[Read more]

Is it just me or is everyone on this board placing the blame of Saturday’s loss on Cam not playing? If so, I find that absolutely insane. We lost the game because we made horrible offensive decisions in the red zone with a true freshman QB AND made few adjustments to our vaunted run defense when U of A was able to gash the crap out of them…[Read more]

  • Rick replied to the topic AZ O Line in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago

What impressed you about OSU’s offensive line? Their QB gets no pressure because their scheme delivers the ball in less than 2 seconds. Their run blocking was horrible and if their QB had to stay in the pocket for more than 2 seconds he got a ton a pressure from our front.

  • I was completely under impressed with both their O-line and their D-line. We beat their butts in the trenches and that is why we dominated them. They have great LBs and DBs but they suck in the trenches. I also think we will man handle U of A in the trenches this Saturday. I love what I am seeing from both our lines.

My question on the whole 20 minutes before the game line is how does that impact the amount of reps Isaac gets during the week and is that they best way to prepare him mentally for a big game? Are you telling me that our training staff and doctors don’t know until 20 minutes before kickoff if a player can play or not??? Come on man! So if they…[Read more]

  • Rick replied to the topic Will Cam Play in the forum Football 1 month, 1 week ago

    DO NOT CARE.

  • On the talent level of each team. The only area that I saw where they shined was their linebackers. I think Barton is amazing and he had a great game, but their two dudes would be a welcomed addition to our team. The only thing that got in their way was their own defensive line being shoved back into them and hampering their pursuit angles.…[Read more]
