That’s a good tip. What I do is have a laptop and a tablet going, in addition to my TV, so that I can keep an eye on multiple games. It works pretty well for me.

Meh, it looks worse that it is because, for some reason, Klatt left his feet.

Barnes isn’t moving on. He’s a Utah kid that’s not in college to develop a football career.

Rick, are you joking? Klatt and Kordell Stewart are probably the two best QBs that ever played at Colorado. When he left Boulder, he had a number of career passing records at the school.
The Miami Ute replied to the topic Why I want Oregon to crush Colorado in the forum Football 1 day, 17 hours ago
Maybe Michigan State makes a play for Sanders but Florida sure won’t. Billy Napier’s contract is so long and has so much money guaranteed that moving on from him after this season would almost bankrupt the Gators’ athletics department. Napier’s contract with Florida is slated to run through January 2029. The deal guarantees him an earning of…[Read more]

Excellent summary. I concur with your comment regarding the 25 November meeting between the Buffs and Utah. By that game, every weakness that Colorado has will have been exposed and exploited a number of times and Utah will make sure to take advantage. I also have to wonder how many frontline players the Buffs will be missing given the…[Read more]

No, family names don’t change in any language.

He used the comments made by the CSU as a perceived insult to go public and motivate his team in a game they were most likely gonna win anyway.
I don’t know if I would that game as a successful motivational example. Colorado should have probably lost that game. If that’s what a motivated Buffs team looks like, they really need to do better.…[Read more]

So OnlyU is spreading false rumors? He just said in another recent post that Cam has been cleared to play for a couple of weeks.

You misspelled Barnes.

According to OnlyU, Cam has been medically cleared to play for a couple of weeks. If that’s true, and I have no reason to doubt him, why hasn’t he played yet? My guess is that maybe Kyle feels Cam is a precious asset and only wants to use him when the schedule forces his hand. Maybe he thinks that with a decent game from Nate and a good…[Read more]

This feels like it could be one of those situations where the game is close but the offense is stumbling and Kyle brings Rising off the bench to provide a spark. Sort of a similar scenario as to what we saw versus San Diego State in 2021 when Cam came off the bench to replace Brewer and almost lead Utah to victory.

If he takes a medical redshirt, he’ll be over 26 years of age by the time his NFL rookie season concludes. The only guys I’ve ever seen that were so old as rookies are a handful of academy grads who went to the NFL after the conclusion of their active duty. That will probably be a turn-off to a lot of teams but you only need one to believe in you.

And then there’s this:
The Transfer QB Era is Accelerating: Over 62% of projected Power 5 starters are transfers

The QBs that I mentioned, I mentioned off the top of my head as examples of who was out there. I know for a fact that there were more than 20 experienced and talented QBs, Sanders was one of them. that came and went this past offseason. Surely Utah, the two time defending PAC champion, would have been seen as an attractive place for one of them.…[Read more]

OnlyU, many thanks for the update. Hope Rising is able to play at least a portion of this season. With Kuithe, I’m just hoping he can lead a normal, athletic life, period. Would be a shame if he ended up like his brother.

Hard to believe Yassmin is homesick. I mean the guy’s been in Utah, what five years now? I think that he’s one of those guys who really takes studies seriously, doesn’t look at the NFL as a possibility, and just wanted to get started on the next phase of his professional life. At least that was the sense I got from diving into his story.…[Read more]

I think for sure that Oregon is going to drop 50+ points on Colorado and that’s going to be a trend in the PAC. If Colorado State could march up and down the field on the Buffs, it’s hard to see just about any PAC team doing the same thing. The weekend before Colorado played CSU, Wazzu visited Fort Collins and obliterated the Rams 50-24.…[Read more]
