  Anyone have any insight on why he’s leaving TX? Clearly he got beat out for the starting position, but was the competition close? what were his strenghs/ weaknesses at his time at Texas?
  
  Fans at Indiana are high fiving because they got 4* Tuttle, but all indications is that he didn’t show all that well in spring and fall camp. Again, curious if anyone has any inside info on how Rising preformed in spring/fall camp at TX?

    Texas/Ute fan brand new to the board.
    
    Rising was our #3 behind Ehlinger and Buechele. He has a great arm and looked pretty good in the Texas spring game
    
    FF to 1:23:11 (Cam enters game)
    
    He’s pretty accurate and has good velocity on the ball. It was surprising to see him sign with Texas due to the type of offense Herman likes to run (Spread with single wing concepts) there are a lot of designed QB runs to give a numbers advantage vs the defense. This isn’t Rising’s strong suit. All in all he should do well at Utah.

  Huge big deal to get this guy. Gives every offensive recruiting pitch some much needed credibility.
  
  Ive criticized Whit’s management of the offensive recruiting. This is an awesome turnaround and hopefully a sign of things to come.
