What of Brandon Cox?

Not sure. From all the hype it sounds like Williams is the shiznit and will be the likely starter. Good competition won’t hurt, and as we know, we need at least 2 QB’s because we haven’t had one last a full season in years.

Always been a fan of Brandon Cox. He has tremendous athletic talent. Runs a 4.5 in the 40. Decent arm. Just has not been healthy enough to get game time and so we don’t know what his “above the shoulders” game is like. I think Williams will win the starting role, simply because he’s fresh off a year where he had rock solid play in 11 games. If Williams can produce similar numbers in the PAC that he did last year at the JC level, Utah has hit a home run. They will need Brandon Cox as a back up, but with his speed and height, I’ve long believed that he should be a receiver.
