If his not 100% committed to the U, then the UTES are better off getting rid of him now; not  in 1 or 2 years later through the transfer portal. One more scholarship open for someone who appreciates it.

I don’t think it’s about that At all. If Utah projects him at one position, and he wants to play something else, then it’s not the right fit.
