Are Troy and Whitt Going After Max Brown?

Max Brown was a 5* and top of his QB class ranking. He earned the starting spot at USC. F’n USC! He started 3 games and had a home win against Utah State! When has Utah ever had a QB who earned the starting spot at U F’n SC?

Is he graduated?  Why would they go after him? He lost the starting job to a freshman.  IF he is eligible as a graduate transfer why would we bring him in for one year?

some made this same argument about Cooper Bateman.   wouldn’t it make more sense to develop the QB’s we have in the pipeline and on campus already?

No. They have three guys fighting for the starting spot (Williams, Huntley, Bateman). 

At some point, there are too many kids and not enough snaps. 

Id bet they let Bateman battle it out and depending on how well he plays, either quickly bump him to #2 or to another position. 

I don’t think this plays out too long. The QB race will either be Troy or Bateman or Troy or Huntley.
