I’m calling in a lot of favors for this Rose Bowl trip.

It is my wife’s gift to me for our Anniversary, Christmas and Birthday, all in December. 

I’m usually pretty frugal, but am good spending $$$ on experiences instead of things.

We’re driving out from Colorado, with our two kids still at home. Wish I could afford to bring my married daughter her husband and get my daughter off her mission 2 1/2 months early. The one on the mission is probably going to have a huge meltdown, she’s my biggest UTE fan game watcher.

Sugar bowl season happened while I was on my mission. My dad found a DVD of the season (just the important plays from each game)… I watched it the day after I got home.
