How about Jayce Johnson?  He developed well here in 3-4 years.

that’s a joke right? Please tell me it’s a joke. He went from being a highly rated waste of space to someone who was good at standing on front of other guys with his hands in the air. That’s not the kind of development I expect from guys like Carlson who show competence on the offensive side of the ball mere months after returning home from a mission, only to somehow lose all of that after his first full offseason on the team.
