Is it realistic to park at the Rose Bowl early and catch some of the parade?

Last minute rally, going to the game. I persume plenty of Ute tailgating going on before the game. Plan is to get to the stadium early and take it all in. Any and all advice appreciated…Go Utes!

Can only share what I’ve been told by locals or people who know because they’ve done the parade.

It’s about a 1.5 mile walk from the south side of Rose Bowl Stadium to the front of the parade route on Orange. The walk is mostly through Brookside Park and the parking lots on this side of the stadium are premium parking spots. If you have a GA spot on the golf course, this will be a much longer walk (by at least a mile). Also, my understanding is that most of the standing areas along the parade route are further down the route on Colorado. So, seems like you’d be in for quite a hike.
