  WestCoastCFB ranked Devin Lloyd the top LB in the conference.
  
  <span style=”color: #242323;font-family: ‘times new roman’, times, serif;font-size: 18px”>Devin Lloyd passed on the NFL to return to the Utes and will look to play for another Pac-12 Title in 2021. The star Utah linebacker was a thrill to watch last season and his 48 tackles and 10 for loss were enough to earn 1st Team All-Pac-12 honors as well as 2nd Team All-America. For his career, Lloyd has 145 tackles, 21 TFL and 8.5 sacks. </span>

    But, but, but their LBs have all that experience against Texas State, WKU, etc….A wealth of experience.

      What BYU did to Texas State and WKU in football last year is akin to what we did to BYU in baseball this year. But believe me, I don’t go around the internet bragging about our baseball team.

    They have to be saying that two of BYU’s linebackers come down between 2-10 in the Pac-12, or that BYU has that kind of top heavy talent plus more depth… right?

      Linebacker: BYU had a young core of linebackers play last year and that experience should make them the strength of the defense in 2021.
      
      The Utes have Nephi Sewell and Devin Lloyd back in 2021. Lloyd will be one of the top LB’s in the nation and is an early contender for Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year.
