  “B” because they exceeded most expectations with 2 returning starters.
  
  I think they are getting dogged because they tantilized us for a good part of the season, but they never could get that breakthrough win.
  
  Season might have changed for the better if they beat UCLA in SLC.
  
  Overall, I’m satisfied with the season with the exception of the WTF loss to Oregon State.
  
  Just missing a couple of pieces.

  The Utes finishing 4th in the Pac-12 should be a B, if you say the Top-3 were the “A” performers. Especially given the handicap of only 2 returning starters I think that is good. However, the drop-off from the top 3 was quite precipitous and hard to give a B to a team that failed to make the NCAA Tourney. The loss to OSU and their last game vs Cal were pretty disappointing. B-

    Except the expectation from rational, in the know Ute fans was not an NCAA tournament appearance this season.
    B for me, my expectation going into the season was 18-20 wins and an NIT invite. They were so so close to eclipsing that and getting to the NCAA tournament. Hopefully next season, with a little more experience playing together, games like Oregon St, UCLA, Xavier, USF, 2ot Cal etc. are Ws not Ls.
