Apparently Moss didn’t injure his knee in practice, it locked up on him getting into bed, oddly enough. Whitt said the actual injury could have happened weeks or months ago.
Moss likely will need surgery, but maybe not, may get second opinion(s). Decision on NFL to be made after the season when full extent of injury is known and how it will affect his projected draft position. If he’s out 4-5 months he will miss combines and other workouts and be more of an unknown on draft day.
