I’ve noted this a few times. Early season games played in the evening, usually in pleasant warm conditions, later in the season the games were in the early afternoon usually on crisp late fall days. Of course very few road games were on TV and we’d tune into KALL radio to listen to Bill Marcroft describing the action.
TV has forced games to be when the networks find it most convenient, but at least we get to see almost every road game televised.
