I read today that he is indeed injured, and that is why he didn’t go back into the game (in case anyone else was wondering).
Yeah he got blown up by a defender who blindsided him untouched and he fumbled.
I have never seen so many backfield untouched takedowns in a given year and we are only thru game 4!!!
yep… and I think that’s when he got hurt. I thought that is what happened at the time, I guess that was correct.
Whitt had said he had an upper body injury that he suffered in the San Diego State game. He tried to give it a go back Washington State but it wasn’t happening.
When he came out of the game, his left arm was completely limp. Looked like it might be a dislocated shoulder or broken bone.
