Shout out and a big THANK YOU to Mr. Chainsaw for donating an iPhone to Ute Hub so I can work on the new version of the app and test on a real IOS device (I have an android).  This will help with development big time!  Hats off.  Come by my tailgate this fall for a frosty beverage on me.

Needs a sim card to be activated, even if you don’t want to use it as a phone and just smart device.

U just need an activated SIM card to set up the phone then u can take it out and use the phone as a smart device. Ask a friend to borrow a sim for whatever service that phone is locked on, ie T-Mobile, at&t…if it’s tmobile u can borrow mine 🙂

Sorry about that, I didn’t think you needed one. Looks like you can get one from AT&T for $5, or a prepaid one with call time from Walmart for like $10. You can use it as your burner phone…
