Might be something or might be nothing, this dude I work with who supposedly has info on the UTES talking to Costal Carolina 4* QB. Grayson McCall. Utah is one of the schools his really considering, but waiting on Rising to make a decision. If Rising goes, his apparently for sure a UTE.

yes, but i’m pretty sure the 281 yards rushing was more of a factor than his 85 yards passing. redshirted in 2019 and 2020 so should have two years of eligibility if he wants it.

My personal preference if bringing in a transfer QB would be a one and done. Barnes and Jackson (assuming he still wants to compete at QB) have 3 years left, Rose and Johnson have 4. If it isn’t Rising, you really only want a stopgap to get whichever of those 4 separates enough time to be comfortable I’m of the opinion that you don’t bring in a multi-year guy unless you don’t think what you already have can get the job done long term.
