        It means if BYU-Provo had been their usual racist and homophobic selves, maybe God would’ve gotten them into a P5 conference as a reward.

        (Personally, I doubt that God works this way)

          Pretty childish, transactional way to think that God blessed BYU fans with football because of their obedience, and now it will be taken away for not being good boys and girls by attacking “the blacks and the gays.” By that logic, righteousness reached its zenith when Heavenly Father sent the notoriously womanizing Roy Catholic QB as a reward. That’s Calling on the Powers of Heaven level crazy. This is why I think it’s fake.
