I don’t know any details, but this is all over Facebook right now. Sad day.
Chris and I were in the same program at the U–and he was truly the undergrad star in the department. His passion for creating and maintaining utefans.net (and its progenitors) allowed me to maintain a very real connection to the school and fans, even though I live 2,000 miles away from the U. It’s a tragedy that he fell on hard times, and I’m grateful that Tony has picked up the baton, but I will always be grateful to my friend Chris.
Following some heavy storms in the DC area the past few years, I finally broke down and purchased a snow blower this past fall. I went with the 26″ Cub Cadet 3x (three-stage), mostly for the 3rd stage auger, which is designed to cut through and throw the dense ice and slush we get out here on the east coast (particularly at the end of the driveway once the plows move through the neighborhood).
The model I purchased sports an electric push-button start, 357cc engine, power steering, heated grips, and a steel chute (very important, in my opinion). More details here: http://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/cubcadet/snow-throwers/3X-three-stage-power/3X-26
I’ve been very pleased with it so far, because my investment has protected the DC area against any measurable snow so far this season!
As of 6 pm Tuesday, these tickets are still available. Thanks. Go Utes!

We will win this game in the trenches. Our D line will live up to its hype, and the O line will respond in a big way to all of the criticism since the SUU scrimmage. 31-9.

Oh yes. Now I remember. That was during a younger, uptight young lawyer period. Now, I don’t give a shit about such things.

Will do. And this is coming from TapaTalk. Thanks again!

Thanks, Wilson. Now, lose that ‘stache.
Oh—and you should see my season tickets at Nationals Ballpark. 3rd base line, about 15 rows up from the visitors dugout!
It’s not Busch stadium, but at least it’s now the NL. I hated driving all the way to Baltimore just to see the AL play. Life’s much better now, especially when the Cardinals come to town!
Yes, still living in NOVA. 17 years now. And I don’t remember why you placed quotes around “alumni.” My memory is shot on a Friday night.
