I grew up when Majerus was coach. I bled basketball. Played it for hours a day. Watched every Jazz game that was on TV and was lucky enough to attend 10 – 15 games a year. When I wasn’t there or the game wasn’t on TV, I listened to the radio broadcast. But oddly enough, even then I was still a Utah football over Utah basketball fan. We were okay at Football in the 90s. We were great at basketball. Still, I may have caught 10 hoops games on TV or in person. And that was with Josh Grant, Van Horn and Andre Miller at one point or another. Football is just so much easier to follow. But I did love those WAC matchups on ESPN at 10 PM on Monday nights. Gave me a reason to stay up late in grade school.

As an aside, I tried watching on TV a few years ago and I was amazed at how bad the officiating was. It has probably been 5 years since I watched any Utah Basketball as a result of what I saw from the zebras.

If they don’t have 15 of the players trucks parked right next to where the Gameday crew is going to be set up, someone needs to be fired.

This is pure butt-wipery of a post. A lot of our fans just plan and simple suck. They act like absolute garbage human beings, accusing coaches and players of terrible things and then say its Kyle’s fault for being so secretive. Sorry, no. You don’t get to blame KW for you acting like a douche canoe.

This week is huge. One of the biggest games of the season. Don’t know who the QB will be. Don’t know who is coming back. But IF Utah wins at Oregon State, and we get a well timed bye week…who knows what the heck will happen. Cal should be a W. That would get us to 6-0 with a trip to USC. Plus we could be really healthy. Cam Rising? Brant Kuithe? Conner O’Toole? Jaquindon Jackson? Mycah Pittman? A more healthy Junior Tafuna, Simote Pepa, Jatravis Broughton, Devaughn Vele, Van Filinger? I will repeat what I have heard a lot of national guys say: Look out.

Doubt all you want. There is a reason why Whitt says what he says and its not to troll. UCLA and Utah will be in the same conference again. Sooner rather than later.

No and its sorta dumb to suggest that he did/is. Cam is possibly the greatest Utah QB of all time or is at least in the conversation. If he wants to come back, you let him. We are 3-0 right now and getting the possible QB of the future reps and time.

Cam is and always has been the best chance at a special season/3-peat. Not a transfer QB. Looking at the QBs who transferred last year, none of them were going to come to Utah and exactly none of them were going to give us a better shot at a championship than any of the QBs we have now.

Even suggesting that Cam has “screwed” us is beyond disrespectful to a young man who has sacrificed his body, heart, and everything to bring us not 1 but 2 conference championships. It’s plain stupid.
