I like the site logo, but here are a couple quick ideas for am alternative logo if you’re interested:
The bottom one looks cool.
I like the bottom better than the top. what if you go with a white background, Red letters on UTE, and black letters on HUB?
Agree with Moose. The current logo says University of Houston to me too.

Hey this is great. I was thinking of hiring my graphic artist friend to do me a logo, but the last one he did cost me $200!
I whipped that logo together in maybe five minutes so I could turn the lights on with something there.

@admin If the community keeps growing you are going to need to move to a hosted provider with some load balancers. 🙂 I am serious about donating as well. I would love to donate knowing that work was actually being done to make site improvements. The hardest part about Utefans was knowing that your money wasn’t doing anything.

I’m on a dedicated server with a few of my other sites and it is pretty powerful. I guess as it grows we will soon see how the loads are handled.
Hopefully this becomes a collaboration. There’s a lot of talented people that could make this forum special. We need Dahlelama to work on that logo. I’d also like to see chat (maybe it’s here and I just can’t find it).

Chat would definitely be a fun RealTime thing to pass the time during games.
I’ve looked at a few options. The “free” ones allow only a limited number of users, like 5 or 10. Still looking around. Maybe I can get a demo one installed by tonight or tomorrow.

I really like Seattle’s logo. I’ve gotten quite used to it. Looks great on the twitter too. But if this graphic guru you speak of want’s to produce something for the site I’ll definitely take a look.
