    Not saying I agree with firing Helfrich but if Whitt loss to a three win TDS-p team would you want him to stay?
    
    I think it was as preemptive firing with Helfrich including the off field issues.

  I’d rather coaches be fired AFTER they lose to Utah vs. win.

  Their QB coach is who we should hire. Twelve years under Gary Pinkel as QB coach where he put three Mizzou QBs in the NFL. He then succeeded Dave Christensen as OC before retiring at 42. He came out of retirement to coach WR at WSU and then this year became QB coach and pass game coordinator at Oregon.
  
  He is the same coaching tree as Harding and runs the pass game side of Harding’s run game. Same system and I would wager same terminology and basic playbook.

    That sounds good. But I think at this point I would think a small cactus could get purchased and just coach QB’s and I would be pleased to know Roderick is not doing it anymore.
