after we get our asses kicked the first few drives both ways and finally establish ourseles getting our first sustained drive and TD to cut 14-3 to 14-10, the guy running down the offensive bench hyping everyone up is TJ Green. TJ has every reason to be sulking over in the corner. You know hes dying to be on the field and hasnt got much chance at all since his early season injury. But he knows how big that TD was to get things going. He knows its not about him, its about us. Im really pulling for TJ to get some reps and he will make plays for us in years to come.
after Wilmores fumble…hes down…gets some coaching.. then the very next drive, Vickers fumbles. Hes down. First guy over to him? Jordan Wilmore. Minutes after his fumble. Telling him to keep his head in the game. We need both of them to stay in it and thats impressive from a freshman to have that presences of mind. Moments after an an awful mistake to be picking someone else up. A lot of true freshman would have found a spot on the bench and sat quiet..
and after the game. Another guy who nobody would blame if he was down about his playing time or his touches.. The guy immediately going up to to Kyle Whittingham fist pumping and high fiving? Its Devontae Henry-Cole.
Its been a crazy day man. Im clearly all in my feelings. But god dammit it takes everybody. this team is special all they are all the f**king way in.
