  Yes they did. “Nigga” is not “Nigger.” Lacy is piling on and butt hurt. Curious why he goes on 1280 and not 700 to tell his story if it were accurate. Same as Troy Williams HS coach…

    I think that might be to the fact that 1280 reached out to him this morning to be on the call and 700 doesn’t have a morning show. Just my guess.

    The home of the Utes might not want a former player coming on and possibly bad mouthing a coach, the program or the university. Just a thought.

        Last time I listened to 1280 which was around the Jazz shut down he would call in and be interviewed.

    No, there isn’t. Both terms are equally horribly wrong. No matter what you think about Scalley’s reinstatement, this is a horrible take.

    Why would you attack Lacy for something he likely experienced? I get you’re a Ute fan and want to defend the program, but it’s ok to not defend MS and his actions. It was very unprofessional to use either of those words in any context. Stop defending racism of any form, our program is very diverse and all those players should be able to feel comfortable being here.

  I disprove of the decision. But I support it. Maybe that doesn’t make sense at all. I feel like the motivations behind the decision were very courageous considering the climate. I disprove because I don’t think it is over. It is probably my pessimistic personality.
  Edit: I feel like someone has to put a line down somewhere at some point.
