    Statistically, Scalley produced the second best Utah PAC 12 defense last season when looking at nearly every category except sacks. Second lowest YPG rushing, second lowest YPG passing, and on and on. But you probably don’t want to discuss these facts because it hurts your perception and narrative.

  For Godssakes why would we want this man back? When he moved to Oregon State after two years at one of the top HC jobs in America, he poached our DC and our Dline coach and no doubt tried to pick others. Then he flipped some poly commitments and started recruiting Utah hard.
  
  Scalley has coached at Utah since he graduated. He even turned down Urban for an Ohio State job. I think he’s performed well and it’s not his fault that he lost people to graduation and that the replacements kept getting hurt. We still performed well despite an extremely young D. Next year will be really good if we can fill the interior line spots. Right now that looks likely. Leki is a STUD and we have others. Just added a 4 star JC end.
  
  tl;dr: GA has looted our staff and recruits for his gain, flamed out hard at OSU after fleeing Wiscy before he flamed out there, and otherwise hasn’t exactly acted like a Utah man. Let him work for Herm. Also, he sounded in those published texts like he needed a break.

      Yes when he has like 9 NFL starters on the roster. I think I would be ok in those circumstances.
