Positive indication of Ludwig recruiting.
Vandy’s last 4 QB recruits are pro style QB’s. Utah just lost their only Pro style QB….
They can’t recruit Dual threat QB’s for years, Wilson, Williams, Huntley, Shelley, Daniels, and now bring in an OC that doesn’t fit the system.
Yeah, because Brian Johnson wasn’t a dual threat and Ludwig has no experiemce with that kind of guy.
Brian wasn’t a dual threat after his sophomore year when he tore up his knee. He rushed for less than 100 yards as a junior and less than 150 as a senior.
Louks package. That was either Ludwig or how much the HC wanted a running threat from his QB.
There’s different blocking scheme’s for drop back passers, Harding hasn’t proven he can field an o-line that can pass protect for s**t. He’s consistently had one of the worst P5 offensive lines every year. Think Tate and Arizona if you try to make Huntley a drop back passer. Huntley isn’t accurate enough on deep routes and throws his guys into defenders constantly. Against UW, Huntley about got Covey killed. For a team with Rose Bowl aspirations, this is a terrible hire.
How does Ludwig improve QB’s like Huntley or Shelley? Who’s the last real dual threat QB Ludwig improved? Johnson was a drop back QB by his senior year. Huntley is already a senior.
They need a top tier QB/OC Coach to get rid of the aura that is Utah offense, Not Ludwig.
I don’t see the point you are trying to get at.
Huntley runs pro drop back sets really well with an RPO. Who cares.
The peddie school? That’s Avery unfortunate name for a high school.
