I saw several big 12 fans on Twitter after the announcement of possible expansion that were really disappointed/p**sed about the possible candidates. The big 12 might stand to gain a ton of cash for existing members (while new members get the shaft) but they are about to become a joke among the other P5 conferences.
I still wouldn’t be surprised to see this all be some type of a play for more money and a conference channel without expansion.
