If Travis was mediocre in many of his practices, it doesn’t say much for the rest of QB prospects we had on hand. SMH
If you look at Whitt’s recent comments on Travis (other thread), he says “Travis won a lot of games for us. We didn’t use him as a TE, but that’s a possibility.” As I’ve suspected they worked with what they had and got the best out of him. They game planned around his weaknesses and focused on things he could do. Despite all the negative comments on this coaching staff and their inability to develop a QB, they really did a good job with what they had in Travis Wilson. The travesty is that they could not recruit something better in the 4 years that Travis Wilson was here, because that bar was not very high at all.
