I used to attend spring practices when I worked close to the school or was on campus for grad school. Pease would watch each player run the rushing drill and then he would often walk up to the player (especially the freshman), put his arm around him, and then walk him through the drill and what he could do better next time.

I’ve tried to model my coaching after him. Pulling the kids aside, one on one, and kindly giving instructions.
