Here is a nice article from Josh Furlong on Barnes.

This is a great time for Barnes to get the publicity. I am sure that he will be the main story on GameDay this Saturday. How does it get any better than a kid from a small pig-farming town making it big and upsetting USC and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner (in LA)? He comes from a school with just over 200 students (7th-12th grade). He didn’t get any major scholarship offers and didn’t receive a scholarship until 8 weeks ago. What a story!!!
