Corey Dennis headed to Ole Miss instead of Utah?

Just saw that according to 247 Sports the former Ohio State quarterbacks coach and Urban Meyer’s son in law, Corey Dennis, may be headed to Ole Miss instead of to Utah. Not sure what’s behind the change in heart?

The article notes: “Utah reportedly hired Dennis earlier this month, but those arrangements appear to have fallen through. The announcement of the reported hire was never made public by Utah.”

seems like an easy decision if Ole Miss has a position coach spot available since Utah doesn’t right now.
