LOVE this guy!
His commitment video just demonstrates several things: he’s intelligent and communicates well. He put a lot of thought into his recruitement. He’s grateful and gives thanks to his high school team and coaches and is grateful to be pushed to his limits. He pointed out the Utah culture and how it is everything to him.
He definitely fits the Utah mold.
And being talented and athletic, he sould get lots of playing time.

Nice get. Impressive video.
Okay, so we’ve finally made the bigtime. By committing to the Utes, his 247 Composite rank jumped from 3* to 4*.
Actually that’s kinda huge. It’s just the bigtime programs that give recruits an instant boost just by committing to them.
I’ve heard Blair Angulo say if Utah offers, they probably need to reevaluate the rating. He was kind of joking around, but not really. At the time he was saying he doesn’t know how they screwed up so bad with Devin Lloyd.
Kind of get David Reed vibes from watching his tape.
Would take that in a heartbeat!!
Who was the last four-star wide receiver Utah signed out of high school?
Makai Cope? Was he three star or four-star?
Last composite 4 star was Solomon Enis in 2018. Cope was 3 star
Think we sign a guy maybe last year that was a 4* on at least one site. I believe his name is Tao Johnson… but he is playing defense now.
Tao was a 3* composite. 4* on 247 – recruited as ATH but played WR in high school
Missed him! Interesting he’s a 3* 247 and composite 4. 1 point from the 247 4*
