If they divide them up into east and west divisions, the east will be absolute dogs**t compared to the west. The west on the other hand will be one of the best divisions in college football if Arizona and Arizona state keep improving and Deion sticks around.

I think they’ll go with “scheduling arrangements” instead of divisions since the only thing that matters is the two best teams play in the CCG. Pods make too much sense for it to actually happen but I could see Arizona, ASU and the parochial school on the permanent schedule and then rotate the others. You’re guaranteed to play a home/away with everyone every 4 years if you have a 9 game conference schedule.

If you do it right, there would be one eastern roadie a year for Cincinatti, West Virginia, Central Florida and then the 4th you wouldn’t need to go farther east than Houston. Those are also 3 pretty good recruiting areas that it wouldn’t be bad to get exposure in.
