My how the mighty Runnin’ Utes have fallen, when today is the first day practice and not a single post about it (until this one)!

I for one am optimistic about this new staff and team. Looking forward to a positive change on the hill!

The great thing about basketball is it only takes one guy to turn the entire thing around on a dime. If Smith is that guy, or if he can find the player version of that guy, the fans/attention will return. I’m not sure we have that guy at the moment. I think we have a bunch of scrappy players that may or may not be able to win games through team workiness.
