Mikey Matthews Now Composite 4-Star

  Mikey Matthews got a rating bump, taking him from composite .8867 to .8944. He is now a composite 4-star recruit.
  
  That makes 7 composite four stars in this year’s class; if we can somehow get Lyons to commit (fingers crossed) that would make 8. And three more coming via the portal.
  
  Incredible job by our coaches and staff recruiting this year. Excited for next year!

  Every year, for the past 6-7 years I look at Utah’s new roster after the recruiting period and say, this is the most talent the team has had on paper, 1 through 85, in the history of the school. Pretty amazing. I do get the argument, Utah’s recruits are getting bumps because Utah’s reputation has increased. But clearly, if there is a need on Utah’s team, there’s a good chance they’ll fill it with a 4* or a very high 3*.

  Mikey Matthews is an unreal wr. He is lightning fast, super agile, and runs amazing routes. He and Money Parks next year are going to be hard to beat. This class is just insane and Walker Lyons would be a superb addition. Hoping to get some star wr transfers but we’ll see. Go Utes! Gonna be fun next year!

  Per Rivals, Utah has eight 4-star recruits, plus three more from the transfer portal. If we can land Walker Lyons, that’ll be a cool dozen!
