Philiips and Bishop both on Jim Thorpe Pre-season Watch List

Cole Bishop and Clark Phillips, III and on 2022 watch list for Jim Thorpe award for best player in defensive secondary.

Rare for two on a single team to be named to any watch list, and both Bishop and Phillips are only sophomores.  There is only one other player on the watch list in the Pac-12, Kyu Blu Kelly of Stanford.

Both deserve to be there.  I think Bishop will be an All-American before he leaves Utah.
