Not really an answer but more to alleviate your concern. The coaches engineer the results of practice. Everything is calculated and situational so the coaches have a rubric. They do this so that they can actually grade the practice when they watch the film. It also allows them to see what players succeed in low percentage situations. That means when the offense “wins” in practice it was planned, when they “lose” it was planned. They don’t just line them up 11 on 11 and play a game.
