There’s a trade off.  This format is best for spontaneous banter while the more common compartmentalized format is better for more sustained in depth topical discussions.

This format seems to attract the more fun/entertaining posters but some of the more analytic types tend to drift to the other format.  If the volume here continues to grow hopefully that encourages some of the more analytic people to spend more time posting here.
