  I remember a few weeks on Bill Riley’s show Weddle was saying he won’t come out of retirement because he doesn’t think his body can hold up to compete any more. Interesting now he is coming out of retirement! Wonder what changed his mind

    Well, it’s just for a max 3 playoff games, probably just 1 or 2. He won’t be playing next season. This isn’t some permanent thing, it’s to fill a gap and need for the Rams due to a depleted secondary (too bad he didn’t have college eligibility left for the Rose Bowl!).
