Not bad at all. Every game we lost, we were expected to lose. If we had won the AZ game, I would say it was a really good season.

We beat FL – who turned out to be decent (winning against FSU as we speak). We beat a bad Baylor team, but those are still solid OOC wins. We beat a highly ranked USC at the time. All our wins were with our 3rd/4th string qb’s.

Whole year was defined by major injuries. And, in spite of all that, to finish 8-4 is pretty good IMO.

We really need a good QB. If Cam can stay clean next year…we’ll be contenders in the B12.

Most importantly, need our def/off playmakers to stay. Need low transfer attrition. And need to develop/find that next QB. Hopefully it is Wilson.

The change with the online portion of message board was jarring – but then it made me discover how awesome the app is. Very easy to use and smooth.

I think a way for us to get message alerts/notifications, especially on our posts would be nice. And I think it would help with engagement and keeping conversations going about our favorite team.

Also, if we being real, I love this site (thanks Tony!). But it gets nowhere near the level of engagement of say a Cougarboard.

Even the Utah FB pages aren’t even close – and you have to sift thru so many unintelligent takes to find anything worthwhile.

The biggest perk of this board though is @onlyu!! Awesome insider.

I mean, objectively they had enough support to survive as an Indy.

Let’s be straight, effing love Utes with all my heart – but Utah isn’t going to be able to make that work. Hell, Stanford probably can’t make that work. No shame in that.

My point is BYU made it work. And I do give their base some credit – def less fair-weather than our fans. Even when their football team sucks they show up. Ditto their basketball team.

I can hate BYU but still be somewhat objective about facts lol.
