I’m a day late, but was listening to Ryan Adams new album Prisoner all day yesterday. I really enjoyed the entire album, was partial to the opening track, Do you still love me?, and one a few tracks in called Doomsday.
I’ve been hooked on this song “Cold Fame” by Band of Skulls for a couple weeks. I’m also digging a song called “The Mountain” by Heartless Bastards. Beyond those I’ve been feeling Tom Petty for the past little while. He’s got a ton of really good stuff.
I liked how we used one look to set up later looks. I commented to my son during the game that it was strange that we kept running wide with Booker. When the halfback pass play hit I immediately realized they had been setting it up the previous 2 1/2 quarters.
Stanford beating USC and UCLA definitely helps us, not in the rankings or polls, but helps us to win the south. A nice ranking doesn’t mean as much if we lose out on a south division title by one game. By the same token if WSU can upset UCLA or ASU it again helps us win the south, which I would think would be our main goal at this point.
