I think if Dampier is given a lot of time in the pocket, the offense will have a good year. Judging by his past performance, he seems pretty good at finding open receivers way down field. If defenses are hanging back playing coverage, I think he and Beck will find a way to make them pay.

I would guess he HAS gotten 8 seconds in the pocket a few times. I doubt his average time in the pocket has been 8 seconds. When you’re trying to gas somebody up, you tend to talk about their max instead of their average.

On one hand Whitt knows how to recognize a good D tackle as well as anyone.

On the other hand why am I being fed Kool-Aide? As Ted said- we will know soon enough.

Nico Iamaleava is a fast and slippery athlete. Hopefully the D tackles will not let him get too comfortable. And hopefully the rest of the team can keep him from running all over us.

I tried transferring my season tickets a couple hours ago, and the recipient still hasn’t seen any e-mail notification come through for it yet. Both the utahtickets.com website and the Utah360 app show the transfer is “in process”, but he’s not receiving anything.

Honestly, I love Utah football but with our current situation and history of continual injuries, if we have a repeat of the last couple years. I’ll just take bowl eligible and be happy with that. Throughout the rest of the season, ybu-p rode their WAC-ishly, weak-SOS schedule to 10-wins, leading their fans to claim their W/L record proved that they were the better team.

Nothing shuts up people whose cyborg culture requires deactivation of their prefrontal cortex. They think that winning football games is “missionary work”, so any evidence that doesn’t prove ybu-p is “God’s team” is automatically declared inadmissible.
