Tennessee did the right thing letting this guy go. Unfortunately, some other less scrupulous team will pay him what he wants. So the only lesson learned is that bad behavior will be rewarded, which is not good for universities, teammates or fans.

This is good. We do way better as underdogs. When we started getting respect from pundits we fell off a cliff (e.g. last two seasons). All that matters is where we end up next year.

I agree with proudute. NIL has completely destroyed college athletics. There could have been a middle ground. Paid as employees of the school supported with donor or advertising dollars and 100k salary cap for everyone. That would have created parity and everyone could compete. And, the players would have been paid a very reasonable sum for a college kid. It’s now a free for all sh*t show and not really in line with any semblance of sportsmanship. The previous system was not fair to many players. The new system sucks balls.

So… what I’m getting after summarizing the above posts is that Beck is likely better at handling his Johnson than Ludwig, Nate’s going to be a receiver, not a giver, unless you drop the soap and the all bets are off because Nate is nasty? What site am I on?

Rick, thanks for the suggestion. It seemed genuine until you made the therapist dig. Not sure why you are responding to me if you’re trying to weed out political speech on this site. I was responding to another post with a not so subtle political dig, just in a more obvious way so those of you that can’t seem to hear the dog whistles can understand. In your little group, do you also make a suggestion to your “friends” that they see a therapist because they have a different viewpoint than you? I bet that goes over well. What a bridge builder you are.

I see what you’re saying Gilly Boy. Like when JD Vance used his “elitist” degree from Yale law to network with the very folks that led to him making millions in venture capital with the very same tech moguls in SanFrancisco who’s kids are now attending Cal. The very same tech moguls that donated large sums of money to an unnamed GOP presidential candidate about to take office. The very same president that has the heaviest hand in “social experimentation” in modern history by nominating a Supreme Court that just reversed 50 years of settled law without any sort of societal mandate. I get what you’re saying. That’s what you meant, right?
