Can I add one?
6) This season has really done nothing to pull us fair-weather fans back in, and this program desperately needs us. I know, catch-22 here, the program needs all of the support and fan excitement it can get in order to attract quality players. I’d hate to be Harlan right now.

This is one of the biggest disappointments in this “new and improved” college football world. I loved bringing in an off-the-radar kid that we’d throw in the weight room for a year and then he’d grow into being an NFL draft pick. Those stories will be there, but they’ll be scarce.

What have they done to this beautiful sport? It’s gut-wrenching.

Am I the only one that thinks these cryptic posts are lame and dickish? I mean, half the time they turn out to be what someone had for lunch or something. Luckily, I’ve gotten to where I ignore them until whatever news it is officially comes out.

GREAT post, Ute Dub. This sums it up for me too. It’s absolutely possible to be horribly disappointed and saddened by the demise of the Pac12 AND to be grateful for the opportunity the BigXII has extended to us. These feelings are not mutually exclusive.

MD is a good dude. He’s just frustrated, like a lot of us.

The whole state of college football is depressing. They’re tearing it down brick by brick. It’s horrible.

C’mon, MDUTE, I read all of your posts and they’re great. But this post…ya, you’re better than that. There’s an element of Utah fan that’s in for a shock at how competitive this league is going to be. These boys actually care about football. MD, go ahead and save this receipt and we’ll revisit it in December to see who was right. I will…[Read more]

My limit is when USC talks Rising, Kuithe, & Barton to coming down to L.A. and the Big Ten to join a super-team. We’ve been on the positive side of this NIL and transfer portal thing so far.

Like you, Eagle, I don’t watch much NFL, but I did see that play on Nacua, and he was mugged a couple of different ways. It was unbelievable. I was wondering to myself how Pac12 refs were able to call that game. Side note: I know he played for the TDS, but Nacua is a baller. Good on him for an amazing rookie season. He and Kincaid both…[Read more]

This is my main worry, Charlie. Do we have enough adults in the room to fix college football or are we going to continue down this road. I’ve been mildly depressed all year with the way things are going, starting with the collapse of the Pac12 due to gross mismanagement. It seems like everything that made the game beautiful is systematically…[Read more]

Man, Utah, I’m going to print this and show it to people when they wonder why I’ve checked out of college football. How many gut punches can these guys give the fans before they start dwindling off and finding something else to do? On a normal Saturday, I start watching games at 10am and don’t finish until midnight. I can see myself watching…[Read more]

In Nate’s defense, it definitely sounds like there were some communication issues there between him and the coaches. However, out of all of the positions on the field, you should never be entitled to be the QB. You go out and take that position. If our goal is conference championships and maybe even being part of the 12-team playoff, Nate…[Read more]
