No problem. Colorado is definitely not a juggernaut and eminently beatable. To me, they’re like a two loss version of BYU but with the exception that they have a couple of top-end skill players. Even if by magic they make it to the CFP, they’re going to get boat raced if they draw any of the top teams.

Who knows…maybe Utah should install the wishbone and have Glover play QB…

Well, I will tell you that Big 12 Twitter, etc…is outraged at what they feel is a slap on Harlan’s wrist. Not to mention the fact that he won’t pay a nickel of it. To me, it’s just another example of the Big 12 needing Utah than Utah needing the Big 12.

That’s exactly it…they have a guilt complex over it. They know that as long as there’s one Utah fan that believes that the wrong call was made, they won’t be able to put it past them. I’m sure some of them are having dreams where Brigham Young himself is visiting them and telling them to repent.

I know that it’s hard to see a pathway to victory in Boulder but let me try…for one, their OL is better than last year but is still resoundingly mediocre. Sanders still gets hit a lot and he also holds on to the ball for too long. In addition, their defense with the exception of Hunter, is really nothing to write home about (#68 in the FBS,…[Read more]

If he comes here, doesn’t that mean that Isaac is gone? Do we still view Isaac as the QB of the future or has his stock fallen so low that it doesn’t really matter whether he stays or goes?

Well, with all that, I know who you voted for last Tuesday. Have fun in the People’s Republic…

LOL…I think Cal had like a 25-point lead in the 4th QTR or that game…one of the most epic collapses in the last couple of decades…as an anecdote, Cal’s QB, Fernando Mendoza, is a Cuban kid from Miami and actually is friends with my nephew who went to high school with him.

Have you ever been to Florida? I know I’m going to get flamed for this, but that’s a mighty powerful comment coming from a guy in Utah, the state with the least diversity in the entire Union and a state that a lot of my friends think is comparable to Iran due to the influence of a certain religious group.

Kind of reminds me of my little brother…when we were growing up, he’d have a different favorite football team every NFL season…it all depended on the record…

I’m not sure Retzlaff would do any better than guys like Rose or Isaac in this offense. Rose, for example has a better arm and wheels than Retzlaff. Remember that Utah under Whitt is where QBs go to die…

I’m a Miami fan and I agree with you that Miami should have three losses this season. I still can’t understand how the refs overturned Va Tech’s last gasp TD pass when none of the replays showed conclusive evidence that Tech’s receiver had not caught the ball. At that game, the announcers started talking not about conclusive evidence but…[Read more]

Not to mention being able to drive to LA for a game and then beating them in the Coliseum…priceless…nothing in the Big 12 will ever be able to replace that for me.

I follow USC football on YouTube and there’s only one reason why Lincoln Riley still has a job…his massive contract and the gargantuan buy-out USC would have to swallow if they canned him. It’s that simple. The team has regressed every season since he arrived and just like at Oklahoma, where he stopped making the CFP when Bob Stoops’ recruits…[Read more]

That’s a no…but only because FSU gave Mike Norville one of the longest and financially biggest extensions in the history of college football this past offseason. If they were to fire him after this season, they’d be on the hook for around $80M…even they wouldn’t be able to swallow such a large amount.
