Exactly. What does “swing for the fences” even mean when it comes to recruiting? I would assume they are doing everything possible to get all of the in-state players. The only thing we can’t necessarily swing for the fences on is NIL, which is the problem for a lot of programs.

This is exactly what I was thinking during the game last week. Cam uses the TEs as a crutch, a very good crutch, but not diverse enough with WRs. The other interesting thing I noticed and it may not be true but it seems that Money Parks has the most targets of receivers and TEs this year. I don’t where to find that info, but that is what it seems.

Bernard – 118 yards on 19 carries = 6.2 per. It helps if you actually watch the game…

You ok there? It’s just sports. You may need to take a break. Also, what Ryan Smith has done for the state of Utah has been fantastic. So, what if he is a BYU booster. Everybody has boosters

I saw an article that looked into the anonymous filers and said that the depths that this company went into making themselves anonymous would have cost them a lot of money and makes it more legit, not to mention the cost of the trademark application too. Normally, a squatter doesn’t usually go to that effort and he mentioned that squatters go…[Read more]

The problem is the company Black Diamond may be an issue with getting a trademark accepted, since they both deal in clothing merchandise

They also added Outlaws too to the trademark applications. I imagine there will a a bunch more too in the next few weeks. Also, the idea is that the first year they won’t have a team name yet and they will be named Utah Hockey Club until they get the actual new name and change it in the 2nd year.

Red Son replied to the topic Is the Indiana Fever the dumbest team name in the history of the world? in the forum Basketball (Women) 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I know it refers to music. That was the whole point of my post, is that words have multiple meanings and all it takes is a little common sense and very basic deductive skills to figure out the context. I would have never thought someone would confuse Indiana Fever name for an increased temperature to fight an illness, but alas here we are.

“unused and obscure” …right. I guess for those that don’t use common sense and the very basic deductive skills. Have you heard of teams like the St. Louis Blues (a nickname about sadness?), LA Clippers (nickname about a device that cuts your nails?), Buffalo Bills (why not Buffalo Williams. It sounds way more official?)…
