It was a BS call and a case of an official playing God. He giveth and he taketh away.

I’m at the game and I still can’t figure out where the holding call took place. I mean, I’m just a few rows from where the play took place and I saw nothing. Did they show it on TV?

Looking like that more and more every week that passes. And I would go further and say that whoever wins will be a one and done team.

Yeap, the Big XII was there for the taking. With just a mediocre offense, not good but just mediocre, this team is probably undefeated or, at worst, a one-loss outfit right now. Utah’s defense, ranked #15 in the FBS (BYU is #39) would be enough to make that happen.

Miami is one to be a one and done team in the playoffs. And that’s if they actually make it. The ACC isn’t a great football conference and though they have won all of their games so far, they’ve looked pretty mediocre against middling competition. Wow, and just as I was typing this, Ward fumbled the ball to salt the game away for Tech. See what I mean?

I think we can all agree that Whitt seems to do best, historically speaking, when he and the Utes are underdogs.

Well, the reality is that tickets are a commodity and, like all commodities, available to the highest bidder. I’m not certain how you stop season ticket holders from selling out if that’s what they want to do.

That’s what I expect to happen. The main reasons are that it’s a night game, it’s going to be cold, Utah is having a bad season, and BYU demand has driven the price of the tickets to a sky-high level so Ute fans can make a tidy profit selling their tickets. Yeap, I’ve seen plenty of people dressed like they’re going skiing in cold weather games. For me, the best thing to do is bring a seat back to avoid contact with the bleachers.

I have four dogs. Two are 8, one is 7, and the last one is six. They’re such a part of my family’s life that I can’t even contemplate being without one of them. All I do is just tell myself to not worry about the future and enjoy them every day I have them.
