So, we’ve banned terrorists from a bunch of countries

EXCEPT the countries where the terrorists ACTUALLY came from? 

As NPR’s Greg Myre reports, Trump’s executive order “doesn’t include any countries from which radicalized Muslims have actually killed Americans in the U.S. since Sept. 11, 2001.”

Greg notes that the countries of origin of radicalized Muslims who have killed Americans on U.S. soil, beginning on Sept. 11, are instead Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Russia, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.

Are we really this stupid?

Yes, we really are that stupid.

 

The sad thing is ‘we’ (a broad coalition forces) actually have ISIL surrounded everywhere, and they could be wiped off the face of the earth within a year.  Approx 75k of the worst of the worst rabid fighters have been killed already.

 

But now this ban, plus Trump’s threat to torture ‘terrorists and their families’ will lead to a tremendous recruiting bump for the organization.

This is what happens when people who have zero understanding of world politics suddenly find themselves holding all the power.  They mess everything up.
