The negativity is something I’ve seen before. I used to see it on the NFL 49ers board when they started to decline in the mid 2000s. Those guys denigrated the performance of players, coaches, ownership… everything. They couldn’t be satisfied. I’d love to see the posters on this board get away from that, realizing that this really is a rebuilding year. We did not reload. We need to watch for the growth in the new players, and hopefully get back to the spirit of college football, which is some optimism for the future, hope in the new guys, and just appreciate these student athletes and their efforts and progress.

I’m not devastated by this loss, I’m not blaming anybody. I hope we can get past this.

Yup, I agree with you. The sooner the fan bases accepts this season as glorified exhibition games the better. I was ticked at the lost last week simply because I want my Utes to always win, but it wasn’t near as bad as previous years.  This season is to simply build experience for the young team and be ready to go next year.

I’ll add that I do think our Defense has reloaded. Its still young and inexperienced, but they are a talented bunch.

Good to finally see our Utes play even if we lost. Fun to see new players: Love, Unity, Enough…

This is a young team. But one position group that’s not that young and didn’t show well was the O line. I hope that’s covid related and not a problem with the players or Harding. Time will tell but if they don’t take 3 or 4 big steps forward, I don’t know if Bentely makes it out of this season healthy either.

Y’all have to know where some of us came from. Being a Utah fan prior to the mid 90s was a difficult road. Be thankful and humble, you young bunch. Go, Utes.
