  Any suggestions for good parking areas / places near the stadium? Saturday will be only my second home game in 15+ years (been living out of Utah for a lot of years). We were able to make it to a home game a few years back and parked across the street from East High School, which wasn’t bad, but seemed to be a bit removed from all of the festivities. I love parking for free (or cheap), but am open to paid options as well.
  
  Also, and I’m almost embarrassed to ask this, but where does all of the pregame tailgating and activities happen? Is it generally just west of the stadium in the big parking lot?

  I would suggest parking by Gallivan Plaza and taking trax up (free w/ proof of your ticket). Parking up by the U is and probably will always be terrible.

    Trax really is the way to go on game day. Just get on early enough that it’s not packed.

  Second the trax option. Would park at Trolley Square if you don’t want to deal with downtown parking.

    Game ticket still letting you ride TRAX for free
